Carpintería Vicens works in line with a quality management certificate in accordance with ISO 9001:2000. Our principles are summarised in our Quality Policy:

Carpintería Vicens S.L. is committed to complying with the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001:2000, and with an evident predisposition towards continual improvement.
Our experience enables us to tackle complex projects with exclusive products, offering conditions in accordance with the needs of our clients. Our objective is to achieve full satisfaction of their expectations.
Carpintería Vicens S.L. is characterised by supplying an optimum quality in both the material it uses and in the final product. To do so, it combines professionals with extensive experience and young employees undergoing constant training. In addition, strict controls are applied throughout the manufacturing process, in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
These characteristics enable us to supply a high degree of effectiveness in our after-sales guarantee.
Environment
Carpintería Vicens is a company which is sensitive to the environment and, as a result, has been awarded the FSC Chain of Custody Certificate in order for it to be able to supply its clients with a product that respects the world's forests.
This certificate guarantees sustainability criteria from the forest to the end-user (felling, transport, processing, storage, production and distribution).
As proof of this, the company states its commitment to the environment:
Commitment to the Environment
Carpintería Vicens S.L., represented by its Director, declares that it is committed to the FSC Forest Management Certification System and, specifically, to all that pertaining to the Chain of Custody Certification.
Therefore, the Management is committed to:
- Defining and documenting a Chain of Custody Certification System. Providing the necessary means for the System to be adapted to the objectives of the organisation and to the expectations and necessities of clients.
- Disseminating the System and this policy to make them known, implemented and maintained up to date by its organisation..
- Naming a representative from the Management to be responsible for the activities generated by this system.
- Reviewing the system and resources periodically.
- Providing the appropriate training for staff in relation to monitoring the chain of custody and the FSC principles and standards.
- Preventing the marketing of wood proceeding from illegal felling, in addition to wood proceeding from genetically modified trees, from areas in which traditional or civil rights are being violated and from forests where conservation of old growth is threatened.
Entrepreneurial Social Responsibility (ESR)
Carpintería Vicens is founder member of ETICENTRE (the Centre for Ethical Company Management), the first association of ethical companies in the Balearic Islands.
Its objective is to promote Entrepreneurial Social Responsibility and its instruments in the business world in the Balearic Islands in order to contribute to advancing to a more just and sustainable society.
Its principle objectives can be summarised as:
- Raising awareness and knowledge of ESR, particularly in Small and Medium Enterprises.
- Disseminating good ESR practices.
- Promoting joint initiatives.
- Developing continual improvement processes in companies.
- Networking and coordination with communal entity.
- Creating a code of ethics based on the principle of a solidarity economy.
